Slack

I'm getting slack at this already. Although I am still entering competitions like a mad woman, I had a day off work the other day so entered some good old daytime tv comps - not sure why as they will probably cost me a fortune!
I'm trying to find vouchers for home stuff, or things to win a car - this house moved has wiped me out!
It's been a while now though, and I am beginning to lose faith.
The Euro Millions tonight would make up for it.

Into The Hoods

Yippee! A competition I want to win! Anything with theatre tickets as the prize is definitely right up my strasse. Just entered one to win Into The Hoods on at the Southbank - if you haven't seen it already - book it up now!

New Home

Moving house is officially the messiest thing in the world!! Also having 2 days out of the office I've come back to ridiculous amounts of emails from some of these online prize sites - I don't care about anything unless I've won something!!! And so far - absolutely diddly squat.
Come on! Surely?! Someone?! Something?!

A week in and no win....

This is no good, I'm already getting annoyed and think it's all a big scam. A week of entering all sorts of stuff and nothing. Absolutely nothing. I'd like to try and enter smaller comps, but they are pretty tough to find.
I did another business card drop at a lovely restaurant in Charlotte Street, Pescatori, but really what I could do with is winning vouchers for places like M&S, Ikea, Homebase etc. Moving into my house on Monday and I need to furnish it!

Spam check

Phew! I was expecting to arrive into the office to 3000 spam emails, but luckily none! Let's hope it stays that way.
Had a bit of a manic day today, and it really is quite time consuming trying to enter competitions so I only managed one today.
I went onto itv.com to enter the X-Factor competition that was on TV last night, but that was all I managed!
I'm also playing the lottery - does that count?
Birthday tomorrow - would be bloomin brilliant to win something tomorrow!!

Car please!

Brilliant, everything always happens at once doesn't it. I'm completing on my house next week, and now my car won't start. It's going to cost me £227 to fix it. Time to enter some comptetions to win a car me thinks!
I just went on to that myoffers site, and painfully entered 18 competitions. I wonder if I'll be able to keep this up?

Business card drops

These are definetly my favourite, no mess, no fuss, just drop your card into a pot and wait for the spam emails to come pouring through. Good job I'm using my work address.
So, back to business, I dropped my card in Upper Crust's little box to win a trip to Mexico and also bought raffle tickets at a show, but that was a bit silly because I had to leave before they did the draw. I guess I could have won, but now I'll never know so it's on with the hunt!

Brilliant - my local bar has a competition to win a bottle of bubbly if you leave your business card - surely this is when having an unusual name should put me in good stead?

This better be worth it....

I have just exchanged on my first flat! Whilst that is all very exciting, I am now completely broke so winning something, anything would be greatly appreciated right now!

I wonder if I should put a limit on entering things on tv - they do cost a fair bit. Hmmm. Food for thought.

Mission

I have been told too many times that I am a bit of a cynic, and I heartily agree. However, I have decided to try and put one theory to rest. I have never really believed that people ever actually win any of the amazing prizes on offer on both television or online. I am going to put this to the test and enter competitions left right and centre every day for one year and record all of my entries on here. Surely, law of averages, I should win something?!
